ABOUT GA20

GA20 is a general aviation aircraft developed by Guanyi Aviation in accordance with CCAR-23/FAR-23/CS-23 standards. The development program commenced in 2015, and the Type Certificate (TC) application was submitted to the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) in September 2016. After nine years of development and certification work, the GA20 was officially granted its Type Certificate by CAAC on December 2, 2024.

The GA20 is a single-engine, four-seat, fixed-wing aircraft with a wide range of market applications. It can meet diverse operational needs such as airline pilot training, private flying, short-haul passenger transport, and low-altitude sightseeing.

RELIABLE & SAFE

GA20 conforms to the newest certification rules in lightning/HIRF protection and aircraft functional reliability, ensuring the greatest level of flight safety.

Engineered to the robust utility category, GA20 provides a platform for mastering advanced flight dynamics such as spin and stall recovery in a controlled and secure environment. Its foundational safety is rooted in its docile and predictable stall characteristics. Given GA20’s excellent aerodynamics design, GA20 is able to perform a 60° roll in 2 seconds at 100km/h. There is no pitching tendency during flap movement, ensuring safe and smooth take-off and landing.

To provide high levels of safety and protection, seats have passed stringent horizontal and vertical crash tests and are integrated with robust roll-over protection structures.

With a forward-positioned pilot seat and large panoramic window, GA20 provides an exceptional field of vision for ground reference maneuvers and traffic scanning during pilot training.

GA20 is equipped with 2 main buses and 2 batteries to provide high redundancy in electric power supply which makes the aircraft more reliable.

DURABLE

Built to withstand the rigors of daily flight training, GA20 delivers exceptional longevity and operational economy.

The airframe is engineered with a 4x fatigue life to ensure structural integrity through years of high-utilization flight training cycles. Key aerodynamic and landing components are heavily reinforced, including a strong horizontal tail with four attachment points and an extra-reinforced nose landing gear paired with a high-efficiency oleo-pneumatic strut to minimize tire wear and landing loads.

EASY MAINTENANCE

GA20’s metal primary structure allows for straightforward maintenance. A good number of strategically placed maintenance doors provides technicians with easy access. GA20 adopts advanced engineering methods to combine and reduce maintenance tasks, hence lowering maintenance costs.

The combination of rugged durability and service-friendly design translates directly into lower operating costs and higher fleet availability, making the GA20 an exceptionally smart investment for any training organization.

MODERN COCKPIT

The cockpit utilizes the state-of-the-art Garmin G500 TXi with touchscreen flight display, creating an intuitive and uncluttered pilot interface.  GA20 also features electric trim tabs for aileron and rudder, and electronic backup flight display.

To meet diverse training requirements, the aircraft offers flexibility with optional equipment such as ADF, DME, and Marker Beacon (MB), allowing instructors to replicate both modern and legacy instrument procedures.

An optional cockpit camera further enhances the training experience by enabling detailed post-flight debriefing. This forward-thinking avionics architecture ensures pilots are trained on the systems they will encounter throughout their careers, from foundational skills to advanced glass cockpit operations.

THOUGHTFUL CABIN

The cabin is thoughtfully designed to offer a spacious and comfortable environment, complemented by efficient cool air ventilation system for hot climate or region. For even hotter environment, air-conditioner is available to be installed to provide better flight experience.

GA20 features premium aviation-grade leather seats, providing both durability and enhanced comfort. The pilot seats are fully adjustable, allowing for customized positioning to support long-duration flights.

The interior is fully customizable, enabling owners to tailor the layout and finished to meet specific mission requirements or personal preferences, creating a truly personalized cockpit experience.
